The underlying aggressiveness of the title is indicative of the relationship between photography and the powers that be, as soon as it was introduced into the judicial process in the middle of the 19th century. From identity photos to police checks, military records to files on migrants, since its invention, photography has always complied with the need to identify and classify people. However, the registration and classification process through photos can sometimes reveal the unexpected…
